the nec | birmingham

This year The British Ski + Board Show celebrates it’s 20th anniversary at the NEC. In this time the show has grown in size, stature and most importantly, attendance, to become the number one event for the snow sports industry. An event not only for British tour operators and specialist retailers but also for resorts and tourist boards from across Europe and North America, too.

Since 2000, the attendance has increased from 10,500 to 20,000 high quality visitors. To maintain this momentum the show is evolving in presentation and format. Today’s sophisticated consumers have demonstrated their appetite for the atmosphere of live events; to field information, book holidays, look for bargains, evaluate and invest in new products and most importantly, enjoy a fulfilling experience to equal their expectations.

To be able to deliver the quality atmosphere and experience required, the 2008 show is expanding its feature base. Big Air free style demo’s, quarter pipe comps, test slope, fashion gallery, innovative “club room” and in partnership with our exhibitors, strategically placed entertainment pods around the show to include live music, gluwine parties, TV broadcasts ad more.
